Concept: The "IKEA-Style" Interactive Rhythm

For this project, I wanted to experiment with a high-energy, YouTube-style advertisement format. The goal was to synchronize product reveals with musical cues, creating a seamless and satisfying visual experience.

The Premise:
A guitarist plays on a sofa, and with every chord, a new piece of furniture—a lamp, then a bookshelf—magically appears in the room. The piece concludes with a custom-designed logo for a fictional home brand.
The Workflow:
From Concept to Final Render:
This project was a "sprint," completed from start to finish in just one day. The process was divided into three key phases:
Planning & Asset Sourcing:
I began by defining the rhythm of the ad and sourcing high-quality stock footage. Since the original video already contained furniture, I had to prepare the "canvas" first.
Visual Magic (Photoshop & After Effects):
I used Adobe Photoshop to "clean" the scenes, removing existing furniture to create a blank room.
In After Effects, I animated the product entries and handled the compositing, ensuring the lighting of the 3D/flat assets matched the environment.
I designed a fictional brand identity (inspired by the clean, Scandinavian aesthetic of IKEA) to give the ad a professional, commercial feel.
Sound Design (Ableton Live):
Sound was not an afterthought. I used Ableton to sync the guitar strums with rhythmic "pops" and atmospheric layers, making the visual transitions feel impactful and intentional.
The Result
This experiment allowed me to push my skills in speed-workflow and multi-software integration. It highlights how stock footage can be transformed into a bespoke commercial piece through creative editing and precise sound design.
Key Takeaway: Even with a 24-hour turnaround, a clear plan and the right mix of tools can produce a "client-ready" result.
